TAX & SERVICES
Unless otherwise stated, all hotels in Indonesia in accordance with government regulations have a standard surcharge of 15 % or 21% Government Tax and Service charge. However, when renting private homes or villas, some prices are Net, there are currently no taxes or surcharges outside or above the price quoted.
Rates are for room rentals per night only. All other costs are at the expense of the Guest unless noted as inclusions on the written confirmation advice.
CHECK IN – CHECK OUT
Every effort will be made to ensure room availability by 14:00 hrs on the day of the arrival.
Our check out time is 12:00 hrs unless prior notice is negotiated, subject to availability upon request.
Maximum occupancy of each bedroom in the villa is 2 people.
If you wish to have additional guests we must be informed in advance. An extra bed for additional guests will be charged
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION
Villa Rates are in USD.
All payments must be received in USD
Otherwise in some cases, OurBali except payments in Indonesian Rupiah IDR. Exchange currency will be advised by OurBali in accordance with Indonesian Travel Agents Association on the Payment date.
All charges incurred for Transfer transactions will be borne by the client.
A deposit of 50% of the rental amount must be received by OurBali within four (4) working days after the relevant invoice and payment instructions have been given to the client. If a deposit is not received within this time, the booking will be cancelled.
Final payment is required 30 days prior to arrival or immediately if booking is made less than 30 days prior to arrival.
Deposits and Final payments are non-refundable
Notice of cancellation must be received by the agent in writing.
The majority of villas have rules governing their usage for events and parties and often a surcharge of up to the equivalent of a night’s rental price is applicable, in addition to a local community or ‘Banjar’ fee.
Normal bookings are for vacation purposes and special permissions must be obtained for functions where the number of people in attendance exceeds 150% of the capacity of the villa.
Please be aware that the majority of villa owners will not accept a booking involving a function without prior confirmation.
If you are planning to hold an event such as a wedding or any large event at your villa it would be best to bring this to the agent’s attention as soon as possible. The agent can recommend a suitable coordinator where required.
DAMAGES, BREAKAGE OR LOSSES
Guests are responsible for looking after the property, leaving it in good order and in a clean condition. Guests also undertake to pay for damages, breakages or losses they may be responsible for during the period of their stay. Villa Management reserves the right to reclaim the hired property if the hirer, members of the guest party or guest visitors cause excessive damage or mess.
The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the villa or its content during the stay, this includes damages caused by other people that the customer invites to the villa.
At the same time the agent makes every effort to ensure that brochure descriptions are accurate and that properties meet its required standards, the agent cannot accept responsibility for any alterations made to the property or its amenities, which are beyond its control.
Nor can it accept responsibility for any injury, sickness, loss, damage, additional expense or inconvenience, directly or indirectly caused by or arising out of the use or condition of the property and its appearances, plumbing, gas, electrical or otherwise, exceptional weather conditions or owner’s negligence.
Further, no responsibility is accepted for the personal belongings, car, and its contents of the client or any member of the party during the holiday.
The guests need to be aware that they are required to comply with local laws and regulations. Copy of passport is required at check-in for police registration and only registered guests can stay in the villa and authorities impose high penalties. No drugs or any illegal activities are permitted on the premises. The guests need to show consideration regarding noise levels and to respect the privacy of other guests and neighbors. Any cost of dealing with police or other authorities is the responsibility of the customer.
We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking, to protect you and all those accompanying you for the full time of your visit against illness, including evacuation, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, theft, cancellation and other travel contingencies.
